Above Continues his Winning Ways in HK27 Nov 2019

Above’s rich vein of form in Hong Kong has continued with further success for Tavistock’s son this week.
The four-year-old added to his record with victory over 2200 metres at Happy Valley for trainer John Moore and rider Silvestre de Sousa.
Above had won at Sha Tin at his previous start and has also collected two placings since returning from a break.
Raced by Paul Kan Man Lok, he was purchased as a weanling at Karaka in 2016 for $180,000 and has now won more than $360,000.
Bred by David & Mary Bodle, Above is a son of the Thorn Park mare Once More, whose half-sister Eleda was a multiple winner and black type performer.
Their dam Repetition placed at Group One level and she is a sister to the four-time top-flight winner Snap.
