Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young look like they could have another start Tavistock on their hands courtesy of today’s winner at Donald, Tavirun.
The 3YO gelding was having just his second start, and won the 1354m contest under Linda Meech with a neck to spare.
Tavirun is owned by T Scales, Ms B Patterson, D & S Juratowitch, A Kassem, M Tsa and was $300,000 graduate of the 2017 Ready to run Sale.
Bred John & Est late A M Bishop, Tavirun is out of the six-time winning Volksraad mare Alleyrun, the noted dam of Gr.3 winner Allez Eagle (Guillotine).
This is the same Tavistock/Volksraad cross as multiple Gr.1 winner Volkstok’n’Barrell.
