Big Crowd For Stallion Parade

28 Aug 2011

A crowd estimated at around 250 turned up yesterday to see Cambridge Stud’s five stallions.

The Cambridge Stud stop was part of a weekend-long visit around the studs organised by the Waikato Branch of the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association.

Stravinsky was first to parade and despite having only arrived four hours earlier after his long trip from Japan, the bay horse looked remarkably bright and healthy.

Year two stallion Tavistock was next followed by Lucky Unicorn, Keeper and Zabeel.

As usual, Zabeel stole the show and looked every bit ready for another season at stud despite having turned 25 years of age at the start of the month.
