New Zealand’s leading Second Season sire Burgundy registered his 5th Singapore winner courtesy of Hallelujah last night.

Formerly known as Julia Rose in New Zealand, Hallelujah broke maiden ranks by half a length in the 1200m turf contest for trainer Ky Young.

Hallelujah is bred by David Ellis and C Huan and is raced by Neo Tze Yong Aloysius.

The winner’s dam Paraiba was a six-time winner up to 1400m. She is in foal to Xtravagant and is booked to visit Burgundy again this season.
