Silent Achiever and Ocean Park, the first two home in yesterday’s H S Dyke Waikato Guineas-Gr.3 (2000m) are both from Zabeel mares.
Silent Achiever (O’Reilly ex Winning Spree, by Zabeel) is not yet nominated for the $750,000 Telecom NZ Derby-Gr.1 (2400m) to be run 03 March, however TAB bookmakers have kept the filly safe at a $4 quote.
Ocean Park (Thorn Park ex Sayyida, by Zabeel) is at the same price and although beaten without an excuse yesterday by the filly, remains a great hope for the 3YO Classic in a month’s time.
