One of the absolute blueblood fillies to be offered by Cambridge Stud at the 2012 NZB Karaka Premier Sale is Lot 159, the bay filly by High Chaparral from Diamond Like (Danehill).

This filly is a half-sister to Ardeche (Dehere), the winner of 3 races and stakes-placed in Brisbane. Her dam, Diamond Like, won 5 races including the Listed Lightning Handicap at Trentham Gardens and was Group One-placed as well. She is a sister to the Group winners Viking Ruler and Kempinsky and a half-sister to the Gr.2 winner Lovetrista.
A recent black type performer to emerge from this family is Capital Diamond who was placed third in this season’s NZ 1000 Guineas-Gr.1 and third in last weekend’s Manawatu RC Eulogy Stakes-Gr.3.
For the record, High Chaparral is currently the sire of 272 winners worldwide including 32 individual black type winners.
