High-class Matamata galloper
Red Ruler has posted another Group race placing in a major Australian event.
Last season Red Ruler (by Viking Ruler) finished runner-up behind fellow Kiwi in the Group 1 AJC Derby (2400m) at Royal Randwick in Sydney.
On Saturday Red Ruler finished third behind Zipping in the Group 2 Sandown Classic in Melbourne.
Red Ruler is trained at Matamata by John Sargent.
