Hong Kong Success For Keeper

Cambridge Stud-based sire
Keeper has enjoyed further success in Hong Kong with the consistent John Size-trained five-year-old
Special Days (ex Eva's Belle), pictured, winning the HK$1,400,000 Fairy King Prawn Handicap (1800m).

Special Days, ridden by Gerald Mosse, won the seventh race yesterday by almost three lengths.

Special Days was slow away from the barrier but rider Gerald Mosse simply let him just find his feet.

In the home staight Special Days quickly reeled in his rivals and went on to score easily by almost three lengths.

Size said he was accustomed to slow beginnings from Special Days but praised Mosse for not bustling him in the early stages of the race.
