Well-related filly Hoopla displayed sharp improvement on her debut run to post a clear-cut win at Goulburn this afternoon.

The John O’Shea-trained two-year-old had won two trials prior to finishing fourth at Kembla Grange at the first time of asking earlier this month.

Benefiting from the experience, the Cambridge Stud-raced filly overcame a wide gate to score over 1000 metres in the hands of Chad Lever.

The daughter of Hinchinbrook was a $180,000 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale purchase from the draft of Lime Country Thoroughbreds.

She is the first foal to race out of Our Miss Jones, a daughter of Darci Brahma who was a winner and finished runner-up in the Gr.1 Schweppes Oaks.
