Stephen McKee-trained three-year-old filly
Keepa Cruisin (Keeper x Just Cruisin) has recorded another top performance at Group 1 level.
She finished a close third in the Group 1 $220,000 New Zealand Bloodstock Breeders Stakes (1600m) at Te Aroha on Saturday.
McKee said it was a top effort from the filly against a very strong field. "She showed she has the class to be competitive against the older horses," he said.
Last November Keepa Cruisin scored a brilliant Group 1 victory in the Levin Classic (1600m) at Otaki.
Keeper, a Group 1 winning son of Danehill, has been represented by nine individual stakes performers in his career at Cambridge Stud.
