St Germaine looked very smart last season at two, chasing home The Heckler and St Fevre for a third placing in the Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes-Gr.1 and running a close second to Te Akau Rose in the Matamata Breeders' Stakes-Gr.2.
St Germaine becomes the 10
th individual black type winner for Keeper to date. The Cambridge Stud stallion was to the fore during the winter with Linky Dink winning the Group One T J Smith Classic at Eagle Farm. Keeper's other two Group One winners are Insouciant and Keepa Cruisin.
