The Keeper three-year-old filly, Insoucient, won in track record time in making a sensational debut at the Taupo meeting last Friday.

Insoucient ran the 1200m time in a slick 1:11.2 as she left her rivals in her wake with a 5.75 length win.

Rider Michael Walker said the filly had always been a smart individual and he wasn't surprised with the ease of her impressive winning debut.

"Insoucient has always shown ability from day one. I knew she would win at Taupo and it didn't surprise me one bit that she won by such a wide margin," he said.

"She has a very quick turn of foot and is one out of the box. She does everything so professionally," he said.

Insoucient is being aimed at the Soliloquy Stakes at Ellerslie and is entered for the Group 1 New Zealand One Thousand Guineas at Riccarton in November.

Keeper, who stands at Cambridge Stud, has now sired 45 individual winners including 5 stakes performers. These include the Group 2 winners Sender and Keep The Passion.
