Keeper is Champion Sire in HK for Wins

11 Jul 2013

The Hong Kong Racing Season for 2012-2013 concluded on Wednesday and statistics for the season reveal that Cambridge Stud’s proven horse Keeper has been responsible for providing more wins than any other stallion.

The stock of Keeper won 22 races in Hong Kong during the season just concluded.  It places him 2 wins clear of Encosta de Lago; 3 wins clears of Elusive City and 4 wins in front of Danehill Dancer.

Not surprisingly Keeper has finished in a leading position on the table for ‘Winners’.  He had 12 individual winners, placing him second-equal with Danehill Dancer and just two short of the tally achieved by Encosta de Lago.

Keeper’s best performer in Hong Kong for 2012-2013 was Invictus (ex Heavenly Trail, by Godswalk).  The four-year-old notched four wins during the term, earning prize money of HK$1,894,150.
