Keeping Score, a five-year-old mare by Keeper which was bred and raised at Cambridge Stud, scored her fifth and most important win in taking out the A$100,000 Spotlight Handicap at Moonee Valley on Friday, 09 October.

Keeping Score got home by a half-length at the end of the 2040m for rider Nicholas Hall, taking her winning range from 1400m to 2040m.

Keeping Score is from the Marscay mare Bluecielo, the dam of five winners including the dual Gr.3 winner Zacielo (by Zabeel) and the Group Three-placed Foxette (by Entrepreneur).

This is one of Cambridge Stud's very best families, with Keeping Score's third dam being Taiona, the 1983 NZ Broodmare of the Year.  Her 9 winners include Sovereign Red (6 Group One wins), Gurner's Lane (Melbourne Cup & Caulfield Cup winner), Trichelle (Gr.1 winner) and Queen's Choice (Listed Race winner).
