18 Nov 2010

Hardy galloper Keepin' the Dream landed his third stakes race and took his prize money to A$366,555 when successful in yesterday's A$125,000 Gosford Cup-LR.

Last season the son of Cambridge Stud's Keeper took out both the Hawkesbury Cup-Gr.3 and the Scone Cup-LR. He's also been placed second in both the Newcastle Gold Cup-Gr.3 and Wyong Cup-LR.

Keepin' the Dream is from the unraced Nassipour mare Irish Nassie.  His third dam is Mona Curragh, the dam of the wonderful stayer Castletown.  His 16 wins included the NZ Derby, Auckland Cup, three Wellington Cups and a Caulfield Stakes, all at Group One level.
