Latest Winner For Keeper Comes At Paeroa

Bewildered put further icing on the cake for an outstanding season for her sire when she won in fine style at the Paeroa Racing Club meeting at Paeroa on Wednesday.


Bewildered is trained in Hamilton by Graeme Rogerson and Garry Newham and was ridden in Wednesday's race by Lisa Cropp.


Keeper has produced two Group 1 winners this season. Insouciant won the Group 1 New Zealand Bloodstock One Thousand Guineas at Riccarton while Keepa Cruisin won the Group 1 Levin Classic at Otaki.


Keeper is now the sire of 62 individual winners from a total of 115 individual runners.


He has also sired two Group 2 winners - Sender and Keep The Passion - and is the sire of nine black-type performers from only three crops racing.


Keeper will stand at a fee of $15,000 plus gst this season.
