Blue Brocher became the 66th individual winner sired by Cambridge Stud sire Keeper when she posted a resounding win in the Grand Tavern 1400 at today's Racing Te Aroha meeting.,
The Alan Pringle-trained filly scored by one-and-a-quarter lengths in the hands of Cory Parish.
The win was a timely result for Pringle who has been fighting an on-going battle with cancer.
Keeper has sired two Group 1 winners this season - Insouciant and Keepa Cruisin - and is the sire of nine individual stakes peformers.
