Saint Leon (Stravinsky ex Ellejolet, by Seattle Slew) became the 69th and latest black type winner for his sire when winning the Arlington Park Sprint-LR at Arlington Park in America last Saturday.

It was the 12th win for the seven-year-old who has the Kentucky Derby and USA Horse of the Year Ferdinand appearing in the third generation of his pedigree.

Stravinsky gets winners around the globe seemingly by the day and latest figures reveal an overall tally of 783 winners worldwide.

Stravinsky’s fee for 2012 has been set at $22,500 + gst and a live foal guarantee applies due to the fact that the stallion is these days permanently located at Cambridge Stud.
