Tiakinui (Keeper ex Avelina, by Nashwan) became the 21st individual black type winner for his sire when taking out yesterday’s A$150,000 Darley Seymour Cup-LR (1600m) in Victoria.
Prepared by former New Zealand jockey now trainer, Mathew Enright, it was the most important win to date for Tiakinui who has now won 8 races & A$193,576.
The 8YO was bred by The Oaks Stud and is one of five winners from the mare. The stakes-placed Maureen Dorothy (Spartacus) is also from Avelina.
