Cool Contest (Ire) became the sixth individual black type winner for Cambridge Stud’s Storm Cat shuttler,
One Cool Cat, when scoring a two length win in the Premio Alessandro Perrone-LR (1100m) at Rome in Italy this week.
Cool Contest is unbeaten, having won her debut in Rome earlier in the month.
The two-year-old filly is a half-sister to the Group Three-winning Love Intrigue (by Marju), with the pair being from the stakes-placed Love Contest.
One Cool Cat (pic right) sired five individual black type winners from his first crop in the Northern Hemisphere, earning him the status of 2008 leading first season sire of stakeswinners.
With oldest 3YOs in the Northern Hemisphere and 2YOs in this part of the world, One Cool Cat is currently the sire of winners in 8 countries.
