Cambridge Stud shuttle sire One Cool Cat has got off to a quick start with his first European runners and he had his first winner last weekend when his daughter, Cool Tarifa (ex Tarafiya, by Trempolino), won at The Curragh racetrack in Ireland.

A 20,000 sterling pounds purchase at the Goffs Million Sales by trainer James Burns, Cool Tarifa came away from Comadoir in the closing stages to score by a length and a half.

"She's got everything you'd expect from a One Cool Cat - she's tough, she's fast and has a lot of class,"said Burns. "Hopefully she's an Ascot two-year-old but she'll have to progress and we'll look at Swordlestown in Naas next."
