The 2001 New Zealand Bloodstock 3YO Filly of the Year, Singalong, was one of the excellent mares covered by newcomer sire Tavistock last year.

Singalong (Danasinga ex Echostatic, by Prince Echo) produced a colt by the son of Montjeu on Monday of this week.

Singalong’s 3YO season included victories in the Sir Tristram Fillies Classic-Gr.2, Hawkes Bay Guineas-Gr.3 and Desert Gold Stakes-Gr.3.
She was second in both the NZ 1000 Guineas-Gr.1 and NZ Oaks-Gr.1, while she recorded fourth placings in both the NZ 2000 Guineas-Gr.1 and Kelt Capital Stakes-Gr.1.

Since retiring to stud Singalong has left three winners, the best being Zacroona (by Zabeel), the winner of 5 races including the Group Three Carbine Club Stakes at Flemington.
