Sire Sons of Galileo on fire!

15 Apr 2012

Teofilo and New Approach, young sire-sons of Galileo, have both made excellent starts to their respective stud careers.

Teofilo’s oldest crop in the Northern Hemisphere are 3YOs and he’s already sired five individual black type winners, the latest being Light Heavy (ex Siamsa, by Quest for Fame) who won the Ballysax Stakes-Gr.3 at Leopardstown on Saturday.

Teofilo’s first crop also includes Parish Hall who won the Group One Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket in October last year.  Parish Hall was one of four individual stakes-winning 2YOs in Teofilo’s first crop to race.

New Approach, also by Galileo, has oldest crop 2YOs in the Northern Hemisphere and his sole runner to the races, Dawn Approach, has been a winner at The Curragh in Ireland.

Cambridge Stud will stand Cape Blanco, a five time Gr.1-winning son of Galileo, in the coming season at a fee of $20,000 + gst (LFG).
