Son of Stravinsky Makes it 13 Wins in Gr.3 event

19 Jul 2010

The American-bred son of Stravinsky, Stradivinsky (ex Lubicon, by Apalachee) won his 13th and most important race when taking out the Grade 3 Jaipur Stakes at Belmont Park in America on the 17th of July.

It was the seven-year-old’s fourth-straight victory, the other three being recorded during May at Gulfstream, Arlington and Churchill Downs, respectively.

Stravinsky is currently the sire of 61 individual stakes-winners with 630 winners worldwide.

The son of Nureyev shuttled to Cambridge Stud last season and it is unlikely that this utterly-proven stallion will be seen in this part of the world again.
