The Cambridge Stud shuttle sire
Stravinsky (USA) (
Nureyev) achieved further international recognition on Saturday when his smart two-year-old filly
Volcada
(NZ) (Stravinsky x Rhythm Kingdom by Vice Regal) careered away with the A$50,000 Listed Kambula Stud Dequetteville Stakes (1100m) at Morphettville, the final stakes race of the season for juveniles in Australia


Fresh off the back of
Soldier's Tale
's
(Stravinsky) Gr.1 Golden Jubilee Stakes (1200m) win at Royal Ascot, and
Pure Satisfaction's (NZ) (Stravinsky) win in the Macau Group 3 Galaxy (1050m),
Volcada (NZ) provided her sire with his the 40
th worldwide stakes-winner.


A dual Gr. 1 winning son of Nureyev,
Stravinsky (USA) commenced stud duties at Cambridge Stud in 2000 and since this time has produced the five Gr.1 winners
Serenade Rose (NZ), Captivate (NZ),
Keeninsky (NZ), Balmont and
Soldier's Tale.

Stravinsky (USA) will stand at Cambridge Stud this season for NZ$40,000 plus GST.
