The Peter Moody-trained Lights of Heaven (Zabeel ex I’m in Heaven, by Volksraad) continued her unbeaten sequence when taking out last night’s Sportingbet Fillies Classic-Gr.2 (1600m) at Moonee Valley in Melbourne.

The three-year-old filly won her maiden at the end of January; stepped up to ‘city’ class to win in Melbourne on the 9th of February and has now immediately & successfully graduated to Group Two company for her age & sex.

The Group One Patinack Farm AJC Oaks at Royal Randwick during the autumn is on the agenda for Lights of Heaven, who becomes Zabeel's 136th individual black type winner.

Bred and owned by Mrs J M Wanless, Lights of Heaven is from the Volksraad mare I’m in Heaven, herself a sister to the Group Three-winning Eloa.  This if the family of Alamosa, a Group One winning on four occasions and now standing at Wellfield Lodge in Palmerston North.
