Viking Ruler's run of winners continued yesterday when his only two runners for the day won on both sides of the Tasman.
The Straight Strike cross with the son of Danehill has again come to the fore with 3 yr old gelding Viking Line (Straight Line (NZ) (Straight Strike USA)) winnng the 1850m NMIT 3 yo maiden plate at Kyneton and Pretty Vegas (Straight Show (Straight Strike (USA)) adding another win to her record for her run in the North Harbour Charitable Trust 1400m at Ellerslie.
Pretty Vegas had the distinction of being Viking Ruler's first runner when she finished 3rd on debut at Pukekohe in December last year. She was also his first winner when she had a stylish win in the Easton Ashphalt 1100m at Avondale in February this year.
