Champion expatriate New Zealand trainer Paul O'Sullivan has produced the son of Viking Ruler,
Aashiq, to win the Hillwood Handicap (1400m) at Sha Tin racetrack in Hong Kong on Sunday night.
Aashiq (ex Join The Fun by Rory's Jester) won easily by two and a quarter lengths to record his first win at his fourth race-day appearance.
Aashiq has the powerful sire influence of Northern Dancer on both sides of his pedigree.
