THE CENTAINE AWARD (GLOBAL)

Zabeel is the new leader in the race for ‘The Centaine Award’, edging ahead of arch-rival O’Reilly in the premiership which recognises the stallion whose NZ-conceived progeny for the season under review has accumulated the highest stakes earnings worldwide.

THE DEWAR AWARD (AUSTRALASIAN)

Zabeel also leads ‘The Dewar Award’, being more than a million dollars clear of High Chaparral, with Pins in third position.

Zabeel has won The Dewar Award on 13 occasions.  This premiership is for the NZ sire whose progeny has accumulated the highest combined stakes earnings in Australia and NZ for the season under review.

THE GROSVENOR AWARD (NEW ZEALAND)

Zabeel has won four New Zealand Stallion Premierships, a title known as ‘The Grosvenor Award’.  This season he is currently in third position behind Volksraad and Pins.

AUSTRALIAN BROODMARE SIRE PREMIERSHIP

Zabeel has moved into third position in the race for Champion Australian Broodmare Sire status and chases Danehill (sire of dam of Shocking) and Snippets (sire of dam of Crystal Lily).  Zabeel is the sire of the dam of Faint Perfume, the Bart Cummings 3YO filly who won the VRC Oaks-Gr.1 during the Spring and last Saturday added the STC Vinery Stud Stakes-Gr.1.
