Current standings on the Australian sires' table see Zabeel well clear with progeny earnings of A$4,590,925.
Zabeel's major contributor to this total is the 2007 Melbourne Cup winner Efficient who has stake-earnings this season of A$3,113,500.
Also contributing substantially to Zabeel's total was Gr. 1 Yalumba Stakes winner Maldivian.
The second leading sire in Australia this season is Encosta de Lago with progeny earnings of A$2,910,560.
