Champion Cambridge Stud sire Zabeel leads the way in a recently announced new stallion award for the New Zealand thoroughbred breeding industry.
The Centaine Award has just been set up and
will honour the New Zealand-based stallion with the highest earnings worldwide within the Southern Hemisphere racing season.
As at November 30, 2008, Zabeel was in front in the new award with his overall progeny earnings being $4,374,260.
