Zabeelionaire, good enough to run fourth in the Victoria Derby-Gr.1 during the spring, makes a welcome return to racing tomorrow on Blue Diamond Stakes Day at Caulfield.
By Zabeel from Kisumu (Carnegie), Zabeelionaire is prepared by Leon Corstens at Kyneton for a group of owners which includes successful syndicator, Brad Spicer.
The 3YO stepped out on five occasions in his first preparation.
Apart from his Victoria Derby fourth, Zabeelionaire also ran fourth in the MVRC Bill Stutt Stakes-Gr.2 (1600m) and fifth in the MRC Norman Robinson Stakes-Gr.3 (2000m).
Zabeelionaire has had a trial outing to assist his fitness for tomorrow’s resuming run.
He won the trial, at Tatura, over 850m by 3 lengths, 13 February.
