Keeper continued his great run in Hong Kong this season when providing two winners at the Happy Valley meeting on Wednesday, namely Fortune Winner (ex Way Leggo, by Kaapstad) and Heco Rider (ex Savannah Swift, by Centaine).

Keeper is second-equal on the premiership for individual winners in Hong Kong this season.  He’s had 14, which is the same tally as Encosta de Lago and only one short of the leading sire for winners, Danehill Dancer (15).

Fortune Winner has won 6 races in all and 4 of those have come this season.  His second dam is Whey to Go (Canterbury Gold Cup-Gr.3) and he’s a close relation of Del Coronado (ARC JRA Classic-Gr.1).  Fortune Winner, who was known as ‘Keep the Spirit’ in New Zealand, was bred by B T Hoong and C W Wong.

Heco Rider was successful for the first time on Wednesday, having his third race day appearance.  His dam, Savannah Swift, won 5 races and is a daughter of the Auckland Cup-Gr.1 winner Sea Swift.  Heco Rider was bred by D L & Mrs J M Booth.
