Cambridge Stud will put forward 9 yearling fillies by Zabeel at New Zealand Bloodstock’s 2012 Karaka Premier Yearling Sale.
Zabeel leads the Australian Broodmare Sire Premiership this season and the first four months of racing there has seen two Group One winners from Zabeel mares, namely Southern Speed (Caulfield Cup) and Atlantic Jewel (1000 Guineas).
Zabeel also leads the New Zealand Broodmare Sire Premiership this season. Planet Rock (ex Akris), the winner of the 1000 Guineas-Gr.1 at Riccarton Park, is also from a mare by Zabeel.
