Activity for Lucky Unicorn

25 Sep 2012

Cambridge Stud’s young Redoute’s Choice stallion Lucky Unicorn has had some pleasing recent activity on both sides of the Tasman.

Adalia (Lucky Unicorn ex Ajfan, by Woodman) has won both her starts this season, stepping out successfully at Taupo, 20 August and backing that up with another win at New Plymouth, 13 September.

Adalia is from the first crop of Lucky Unicorn; so too is I’ll’ava’alf (Lucky Unicorn ex Phillipa Glass, by Volksraad), an impressive 2200m winner at Hastings last weekend on a Premier Day of racing.

Lucky Unicorn’s most recent winner came at Tamworth in Australia on Monday when Pixie Miss (Lucky Unicorn ex Astral Wind, by Spinning World) was successful in Maiden company at her second start.

Lucky Unicorn is now the sire of 17 individual winners including the Group One-placed Capital Diamond (3rd, NZ 1000 Guineas).
