23 Aug 2012

The JLT Bloodstock and Waikato Breeders’ Stallion Weekend will provide an opportunity for all interested parties to view the exciting new shuttle stallion Cape Blanco for the first time in public tomorrow from 12.30pm.

This is a public parade in the true sense, everyone is welcome and there is no charge.

Cape Blanco, who won 5 Group One races and was named Champion American Turf Horse of 2011, arrived at Cambridge Stud for his Southern Hemisphere shuttle run at 5.30am yesterday morning.

According to Sir Patrick Hogan, Cape Blanco was “bright and alert and very interested with his new surroundings” on arrival.

If you want to see just how good an international racehorse he was, a prime example is his the day he annihilated his rivals in the Irish Championship Stakes-Gr.1 as a three-year-old, CLICK HERE to view that performance.

All six of the Cambridge Stud Stallion Roster will parade tomorrow; so it offers a rare glimpse of Australasia’s greatest living stallion, Zabeel.

Place: Cambridge Stud, Discombe Road, Cambridge

Time: Commences 12.30pm sharp

What you’ll see: CAPE BLANCO, Zabeel, Stravinsky, Keeper, Tavistock & Lucky Unicorn
