Aquacade continues rise

Aquacade continues rise19 Nov 2022

Our progressive staying mare Aquacade hinted that she could make her presence felt in some of the summer staying features with a determined display at Pukekohe.

The Dundeel four-year-old was settled one out and one back by jockey Warren Kennedy and stayed on stoutly to take out the Rating 75 event over 2100 metres by a short neck.

Trainer Lance Noble is now planning to extend Aquacade out over longer distances as she chases additional black-type. She currently holds nominations for the Gr.3 Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Te Rapa on January 1st and the Gr.2 Auckland Cup on March 11th at Pukekohe.

Aquacade, who was withdrawn from our 2020 New Zealand Bloodstock yearling draft, now has three wins to her credit from eight starts as well as a third placing in the Gr.2 Royal Stakes.
