Belhus Racing salute with sale graduate

Belhus Racing salute with sale graduate3 Oct 2021

We were delighted to see our farm graduate There’s A Thought open her account at Northam yesterday for Belhus Racing Stables.

The Western Australian-based syndication company is run by Peter Morley, who has been a strong supporter of ours sales drafts. He purchased There’s A Thought out of our 2019 yearling draft at Karaka for $60,000 and this year returned to purchase an Almanzor colt and Tavistock from our weanling draft.

The mare has been patiently handed by trainer Dan Morton and with five previous placings to her credit, victory was well-deserved and achieved in a style that suggests the best is yet to come from the four-year-old.

There’s A Thought is the second winner for the Irish-bred Shanya, who is visiting Embellish this season.

She is a daughter of the G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes winner Ramonti. She is a half-sister to the G1 Prix de l’Opera winner Shalanya and the G2 Prix Chaudenay winner Shankardeh.
