Diamond Like, a Listed Race winner and Group One-placed second, has produced a More Than Ready colt at Cambridge Stud in the last few days.
Diamond Like was in the news two years ago when her Zabeel colt topped the 2010 NZB Karaka Premier Sale with a price tag of $2m to the bid of James Bester Bloodstock.
The amazing Eight Carat is the third dam of Diamond Like and she is herself a sister to Viking Ruler (Spring Champion Stakes-Gr.1) and half-sister to Lovetrista (Gr.2 & LR winner) and Kempinsky (Gr.2 winner).
Diamond Like’s dam, Tristalove (Sir Tristram) won the Australasian Oaks-Gr.1 and AJC Sires’ Produce Stakes-Gr.1, while her second dam, Diamond Lover (Sticks and Stones) won the ARC Railway Handicap-Gr.1.
