A filly born at Cambridge Stud yesterday fits into the ‘blueblood’ category in every respect.
By Champion Sire Encosta de Lago, the filly is from Love Diamonds, herself a juvenile-winning Danehill sister to Group One winner Viking Ruler (AJC Spring Champion Stakes).
Love Diamonds is also a sister to Kempinsky (AAMI Vase-Gr.2) and Diamond Like (WRC Lightning Handicap-LR), and a half-sister to Lovetrista (Waikato Gold Cup-Gr.2).
So far 46 foals have been born at Cambridge Stud this season.
