Cambridge Stud service fees set

1 May 2016

Sir Patrick Hogan has set his fees for the Cambridge Stud stallion roster for 2016.

Burgundy, whose oldest progeny are rising two-year-olds, will stand at a fee of $5,000 + gst (LFG).  The Karaka first-crop yearlings by Burgundy (Redoute's Choice ex Grand Echezeaux, by Zabeel) sold up to $105,000.

Keeper, the sire of 6 individual Group One winners, has a fee of $6,000 + gst (LFG).  By Danehill from the Pleasant Colony mare Nuwirah, Keeper was New Zealand's Leading Sire of individual winners last season.

Power (Oasis Dream ex Frappe, by Inchinor) will shuttle again to Cambridge Stud and his fee remains unchanged at $8,000 + gst (LFG).  Power has oldest crop two-year-olds in the Northern Hemisphere and so far he has had two runners out for a winner and placed horse.  The first-crop Southern Hemisphere yearlings by Power were in demand at Karaka, selling up to $600,000.

Tavistock's fee was announced on Friday at $65,000 plus gst (LFG) and his book is now closed.
