Cape Blanco and Power available for inspection

A whole lot of stallion firepower arrived through the gates of Cambridge Stud recently.

CAPE BLANCO and POWER are back from their respective Northern Hemisphere stud stints and are available for inspection along with barnmates Burgundy, Keeper and Tavistock.

Cape Blanco is getting set for his third shuttle season at Cambridge Stud, having covered 209 mares in total during years one and two.

A five-time Gr.1-winning son of world number one sire Galileo, Cape Blanco had a $100k seller at this year's NZB National Weanling Sale and his first Southern Hemisphere yearlings will be seen out at the 2015 yearling sale round across New Zealand and Australia.

As is the case for all year two stallions, there will be considerable interest in the arrival of Power's first-crop Southern Hemisphere foals this season.

The impressive-looking son of Oasis Dream (Green Desert) was outstanding at two years, winning at Gr.1, Gr.2 and LR level - what's more he was twice placed at Group One level as a juvenile.

Power trained on to win the Irish 2000 Guineas-Gr.1 at three.
