Cape Blanco has sired his fourth individual winner and it has come in the country where he won three Gr.1 victories himself and was named Turf Horse of the Year in 2011.

Cape Blanco (Galileo) has first-crop two-year-olds in the Northern Hemisphere and has now sired winners in America, Great Britain and Russia (2).

The American debut winner was recorded at Saratoga last Sunday with Sage Hall (Cape Blanco ex Cayuga's Waters, by Langfuhr) scoring over eight-and-a-half furlongs.

Cape Blanco's first-crop Southern Hemisphere yearlings sold up to NZ$450,000 at Karaka and his sole Sydney Easter Yearling fetched A$200,000.

Cape Blanco, who is now permanently-based in the Northern Hemisphere, will be represented by yearlings at the 2016 and 2017 sales series.
