Cape Blanco yearlings grab eye in CS Karaka Parade

Sir Patrick Hogan put every one of his 38 yearlings entered for next week's Karaka Premier Sale through their paces during his annual parade on the sale ground yesterday.


Of key interest was the first Southern Hemisphere crop of the five time Group One-winning Galileo horse Cape Blanco and the youngsters certainly looked the part.


The race for Leading First Crop Stallion at Karaka is on and many will be predicting that Cape Blanco comes out on top judging by the quality and consistency of his first offering in this part of the world.
