Two of Galileo’s sire sons, New Approach and Teofilo, have sired five Group One winners in 2013 between them.
New Approach (Galileo ex Park Express, by Ahonoora) has sired two Group One winners this calendar year, namely Dawn Approach (Newmarket 2000 Guineas) and Talent (Epsom The Oaks).
Teofilo (Galileo ex Speirbhean, by Danehill) has done even better with three Group One winners in 2013, namely Trading Leather (Curragh Irish Derby), Havana Gold (Chantilly Prix Jean Prat) and Voleuse de Coeurs (Curragh Irish St Leger).
