Embellish’s pedigree received a highly promising update this week.

The exciting young sire’s Gr.1 winning sister Diademe enjoyed her first winner from first foal to race courtesy of Conqueror.

Trained by the Lindsay Park team of David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig, the 2YO son of Fastnet Rock struck his maiden win by a impressive seven length margin at Pakenham over 1400m.

“It was a very, very impressive win. He did everything right. He extended right through the line and we really think he is a horse that will be competing in the big races in the spring. It was really exciting to see him do that,” said Ben Hayes.
Hayes said the Gr.1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) was on the colt’s radar.

Conqueror was sold by Gordon Cunningham’s Curraghmore at the Book 1 session of the 2018 New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling Sale for $1 million.
