Ayahuasca boosted the profile of her younger half-brother by Almanzor with a stylish winning debut at Cranbourne.

The Mick Price and Michael Kent Junior-trained Cambridge Stud graduate delivered at the first time of asking over 1300 metres in the hands of Michael Dee.

Ayahusca was bought out of Cambridge Stud’s Karaka draft by agent John Foote for $110,000.

A three-year-old daughter of Tavictock, Ayahuasca is a daughter of the Danehill Dancer mare Sussex Dancer.

We will offer her Almanzor half-brother as Lot 157 during Book 1 at Karaka next January.

Sussex Dancer has a 100 per cent record at stud with all five of her foals to race now successful.

Her offspring includes Meghan and Reevederci, who have both also placed at Group 3 level.
