21 May 2024A step up in distance at Warwick proved a winning formula for Embellish’s son Ole Bazzle.
The three-year-old had finished in behind the major players in both of his previous sprint outings and he broke his maiden in style over the extra trip of 1500 metres for trainer Jack Duncan.
We bred Ole Bazzle whose dam Fazzle was a talented mare by Johar and won on eight occasions, with her CV featuring success in the G2 Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes and ran third in the G1 Waikato Draught Sprint.
Fazzle is the dam of four winners, including the stakes performer Leave It To Me, and is in foal to Almanzor.
A $22,000 New Zealand Bloodstock National Online Sale graduate, Ole Bazzle dropped back from a wide gate before improving near the home bend and produced a stirring finish to win in Micheal Hellyer’s hands.
