Everyone welcome at tomorrow's CS Karaka Parade

Cambridge Stud's full consignment for the Karaka Premier Sale arrived safely at New Zealand Bloodstock's Sales Centre on Saturday and have spent the last couple of days settling into what will be their home for the next week or so.

Tomorrow is an important day for the youngsters as they will parade in public at 1.30pm.  While 'official' inspections of the Cambridge Stud horses isn't scheduled to happen until Wednesday, tomorrow is an opportunity for the horses to have a practice run in front of a small gathering of interested parties and the public alike.

Sir Patrick Hogan holds the parade of his yearlings every year on the Tuesday before the sale gets underway and makes it an open invitation affair.

"We will get underway at 1.30pm sharp and each horse will be out for around 60 seconds," said Hogan whose Cambridge Stud has been the National Yearling Sales' Leading Vendor (for gross income) on no less than 31 occasions.
