There are just 4 yearlings by leading Australian sire Commands in the Karaka Premier Sale and Cambridge Stud has the first to be offered, a striking filly from Octapussy, Lot 160 which is Bobs Eligible.
The stock of Commands seemingly win races 'every day' in Australia and it's a perception which is certainly backed up by statistics - during the 2011-2012 season Commands was Australia's Leading Sire for individual winners (137).
Commands is currently fifth on this season's Australian Stallion Premiership (earnings). He was third on that list last season and fifth the season before. To date Commands is the sire of 682 winners worldwide including 61 individual black type winners.

The three to race from Octapussy to date have all been successful with Pussy Willow (by O'Reilly) a juvenile winner at Gr.2 level.
Two relatively-new black type winners in this family are Catalonia (now races in Australia as 'Vilanova') and Dancer's Tale.
